The Ministry of Human Rights (MoHR) is a federal government agency in Pakistan. The ministry is headed by Shireen Mazari, the Minister for Human Rights, while Rabiya Javeri Agha serves as Federal Secretary. The historically contentious issue of human rights in Pakistan received an added emphasis from the highest leadership of Pakistan when the ministry was chipped out of the Ministry of Law and Justice on November 3, 2008.

To make all possible efforts for establishing and strengthening an indigenous institutional mechanism for protection fo basic human rights and fundamental freedoms of citizens of Pakistan has enshrined in the Constitution of Pakistan and the universal declaration of Human Rights without any distinction of cast, color or creed. Further due to the merger of devolved Ministry of Women Development, representing Pakistan at international and bilateral level, involving all gender matters is also included in the mandate of the Ministry.
