Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role based in Islamabad for a Senior Financial Accountant. The Senior Financial Accountant will oversee the preparation and review of financial statements, ensure accurate financial reporting, and maintain compliance with local regulations and international accounting standards. Daily responsibilities include monitoring general ledger entries, reconciling accounts, analyzing financial data, and supporting audits and tax filings. The role also involves optimizing accounting processes, mentoring junior team members, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and providing insights to management for budgeting and financial planning.

Qualifications

• Strong knowledge of Financial Statements and Financial Reporting, with experience preparing and reviewing complex reports.
• Proficient Finance and Analytical Skills to interpret financial data, identify trends, and support strategic decisions.
• Hands-on experience with modern Accounting Software and related tools to manage and automate accounting processes.
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; professional certifications such as CPA, ACCA, or CMA with article-ship completed are preferred.
• Solid understanding of UAE accounting standards, taxation, and AML regulations.
• Proven experience in a senior accounting role, ideally within a professional services or corporate environment.
• Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and the ability to manage multiple deadlines.
• Effective communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively in an on-site team setting.
