Job Description
Grease Monkey Garage is seeking an experienced Auto painter (custom paint) to join our paint service department team. This opportunity is ideal for an experienced and highly skilled Auto painter who is passionate about exotic cars. The successful candidate will be part of dedicated team, in this role you will be responsible for carrying out body repair and paint on a large range of American, European and Japanese vehicles from light cars to pick up and off-road vehicles.
Required Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
- Ability to read and comprehend instructions and memos; ability to write correspondence; ability to effectively present information one-on-one to team members.
- Proven ability to work effectively independently and in a team environment.
- Knowledge of relevant equipment, policies, procedures, and strategies to promote effective safety operations.
Job Qualifications and Education
- 5 years of paint maintenance experience preferably with a technical degree.
- Demonstrated skills in organization, planning, prioritization and time management.
- Ability to prioritize multiple tasks and complete on a timely basis.
Physical Requirements and Working Conditions
Ability to work a flexible schedule, including some evenings and weekends. The employee is subject to outside environmental conditions occasionally; inside conditions frequently, with protection from weather conditions but not necessarily from temperature change.
