Location: Gulberg, Lahore (Onsite)

Working Days: Sunday – Thursday

Working Hours: 9:00 AM – 6:00 PM

Position Overview

We are seeking a detail-oriented AutoCAD Draftsman to prepare accurate electrical drawings and technical designs for commercial, industrial, and infrastructure projects. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in AutoCAD, electrical drafting, and design standards, with the ability to produce high-quality drawings that support engineering and project execution.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare detailed electrical drawings, layouts, schematics, and shop drawings using AutoCAD.
• Develop electrical design drawings for power, lighting, ELV, and low-current systems.
• Interpret engineering drawings, specifications, and project requirements.
• Prepare Single Line Diagrams (SLDs), panel schedules, cable routing, and load schedules.
• Coordinate with estimation, engineering, and project teams to ensure design accuracy.
• Revise drawings based on client comments and project requirements.
• Ensure drawings comply with applicable engineering standards and company procedures.
• Maintain drawing revisions, documentation, and design records.
• Assist in preparing BOQs and material take-offs from drawings.
• Support project execution by providing technical drafting assistance when required.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or Diploma in Electrical Engineering, Electrical Technology, or a related field.
• 2–5 years of experience in AutoCAD drafting or electrical design.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD is mandatory.
• Strong knowledge of electrical systems, power distribution, lighting, ELV, and low-current designs.
• Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings and technical specifications.
• Experience in preparing shop drawings and as-built drawings.
• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with Revit MEP, Dialux, ETAP, or other electrical design software is an advantage.
• Experience in commercial, industrial, or infrastructure projects.
• Knowledge of IEC, NEC, or other international electrical standards is preferred.
