Working Hours: 5:00 PM – 2:00 AM
Location Requirement:
Applicants must reside in Bahria Town Phase 7/8, DHA Phase 1/3, Askari 14, Humak, or nearby areas in Rawalpindi. Preference will be given to candidates living close to our office in Bahria Town Phase 7.
About Us:
Sequel Technologies is a software company specializing in healthcare IT and medical billing services for the US market. We are looking for an experienced and detail-oriented Senior Accountant to manage daily accounting operations and support accurate financial reporting.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage daily accounting tasks, including accounts payable and accounts receivable.
- Maintain accurate financial records and support month-end and year-end closing.
- Prepare and review journal entries, invoices, expense reports, and payment runs.
- Reconcile bank accounts, credit card statements, and general ledger entries.
- Prepare financial reports and assist with financial analysis.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and accounting standards.
- Coordinate with internal departments and external vendors.
- Assist with audits and financial documentation.
- Support budgeting and forecasting when required.
Requirements & Skills:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field preferred.
- Minimum 5 years of relevant accounting experience.
- Proficiency in QuickBooks and Microsoft Excel, including VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, and formulas.
- Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting.
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in budgeting and forecasting.
- Familiarity with additional accounting software.
- Experience working with US-based businesses is an advantage.
