Role Description

This is a full-time remote role for a Design Engineer – High-Efficiency Irrigation Systems. The role involves designing high-efficiency irrigation layouts and system components for agricultural and landscape projects, including drip and sprinkler systems optimized for water conservation and crop or plant requirements. The Design Engineer will perform hydraulic calculations, equipment selection, and preparation of technical drawings, bills of quantities, and design documentation in collaboration with sales and project teams. Day-to-day responsibilities include reviewing site data, interpreting agronomic and landscaping requirements, preparing design proposals, and providing technical support during installation and commissioning. The role also requires coordination with suppliers and internal stakeholders, adherence to relevant standards and best practices, and continuous improvement of design guidelines based on field performance and client feedback.

Qualifications

• Ability to design irrigation systems, including drip and sprinkler solutions, with skills in hydraulic analysis, pipe sizing, and pump selection.
• Proficiency in CAD or similar design tools for layout planning and documentation.
