Role Description The Assistant Sales Manager is a full-time, on-site role based in Islamabad. This position supports the sales manager in day-to-day operations, including coordinating with clients, preparing quotations and proposals, and following up on leads to drive sales of medical devices. The role involves maintaining accurate sales records, monitoring inventory related to sales orders, and ensuring timely delivery and customer satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Candidates should possess strong sales and negotiation skills, with the ability to build rapport and manage client relationships effectively.
• Candidates should possess skills in communication, presentation, and interpersonal collaboration to work well with customers and internal teams.
• Candidates should possess organizational and time-management skills, including the ability to handle multiple tasks, maintain records, and meet deadlines.
• Candidates should possess basic proficiency in MS Office or equivalent tools, including spreadsheets, word processing, and email correspondence.
• Candidates should possess knowledge of or interest in medical devices and the healthcare sector, with the ability to learn product features and benefits.
• Relevant experience in sales, business development, or account management is preferred; a diploma or degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field is beneficial.
• Candidates should demonstrate integrity, reliability, and adherence to ethical business practices, in line with the company’s values and principles.
• Fluency in local languages and working proficiency in English, along with the ability to travel locally for client visits, will be advantageous.

Key Responsibilities

The Assistant Sales Manager supports day-to-day operations by coordinating with clients, preparing proposals, and following up on leads for medical devices. They are also responsible for maintaining sales records, monitoring inventory, and providing after-sales support to ensure customer satisfaction.

Requirements and Skills
