- Operating Systems: Linux (Ubuntu, CentOS/RHEL), system administration, and troubleshooting.
- Cloud Platforms: AWS (EC2, S3, IAM, VPC, RDS, CloudWatch).
- Containers & Orchestration: Docker, Kubernetes, Docker Compose, and Helm.
- CI/CD: Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or GitLab CI/CD.
- Infrastructure as Code: Terraform and basic infrastructure automation.
- Version Control: Git, GitHub, and GitLab.
- Scripting: Bash/Shell scripting and basic Python.
- Monitoring & Logging: Prometheus, Grafana, CloudWatch, and ELK Stack.
- Web Servers: Nginx and Apache.
- Networking: Understanding of TCP/IP, DNS, HTTP/HTTPS, load balancers, and firewalls.
- Security: Basic understanding of IAM, secrets management, SSL/TLS, and DevSecOps practices.
- Build, maintain, and optimize CI/CD pipelines.
- Deploy and manage applications using Docker and Kubernetes.
- Provision and manage cloud infrastructure.
- Automate infrastructure deployment and operational tasks.
- Monitor application and infrastructure health.
- Troubleshoot deployment, networking, and infrastructure issues.
- Collaborate with developers to improve deployment processes.
- Follow security, reliability, and infrastructure best practices.
- 1–2 years of relevant DevOps or Cloud Engineering experience.
- Strong understanding of Linux and basic networking.
- Hands-on experience with at least one cloud platform.
- Practical knowledge of Docker, CI/CD, and infrastructure automation.
- Familiarity with Kubernetes, Terraform, and monitoring tools.
- Strong problem-solving skills and a willingness to learn new technologies.
Candidates are not expected to be experts in every tool, but should have strong fundamentals and hands-on exposure to core DevOps technologies.
