Role Description

The Medical Officer is a full-time, on-site role based in Lahore, responsible for overseeing the health and wellbeing of employees in a manufacturing setting. Daily responsibilities include conducting medical examinations, managing routine and emergency patient care, and maintaining medical records. The Medical Officer will provide first aid and support for workplace injuries, coordinate referrals to external physicians or hospitals when needed, and collaborate with management to promote occupational health and safety. The role involves delivering health education and training sessions, supporting wellness initiatives, and ensuring compliance with relevant health regulations. The Medical Officer will also assist in developing health policies and procedures that align with the company’s operational needs.

Qualifications

• Strong foundation in Medicine, with relevant medical degree and valid professional registration.
• Demonstrated skills in Patient Care, including assessment, diagnosis, and management of common workplace health issues.
• Experience in Surgery or minor clinical procedures, particularly in providing first aid and emergency care.
• Ability to conduct Training on health, safety, and wellness topics for employees at all levels.
• Experience Working with Physicians and other healthcare professionals to coordinate referrals and specialized care.
• Prior experience in occupational health, industrial or corporate medical settings is an advantage.
• Strong communication and documentation skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
