Role Description

The MERN Developer will design, develop, and maintain web applications using MongoDB, Express.js, React, and Node.js. Day-to-day responsibilities include implementing new features, optimizing existing code, integrating APIs, managing databases, and ensuring responsive, user-friendly interfaces. The role involves collaborating with designers, product owners, and other developers to translate requirements into scalable technical solutions, writing clean, testable code, and troubleshooting issues across the stack. This is a full-time, on-site role based in Lahore, requiring consistent presence at the office and active participation in team meetings, code reviews, and project planning.

Qualifications

• Strong proficiency in MERN stack development (MongoDB, Express.js, React, Node.js) and RESTful APIs.
• Experience with front-end technologies such as HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript (ES6+), and responsive UI frameworks.
• Knowledge of backend development practices, including authentication, authorization, database design, and performance optimization.
• Familiarity with version control systems (e.g., Git) and collaborative development workflows.
• Understanding of software development best practices, testing, debugging, and deployment processes.
• Ability to analyze requirements, conduct technical research, and propose effective solutions.
• Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and ability to work both independently and within cross-functional teams.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• Experience with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure), CI/CD pipelines, or containerization (e.g., Docker) is a plus.
• Willingness to work on-site in Lahore and adapt to a fast-paced, project-driven environment.
