National Database and Registration Authority (NADRA), Ministry of Interior & Narcotics Control, Government of Pakistan, is seeking a highly skilled and experienced professional for the position of Assistant Director (Network Engineer - Core Networks) under the provisions of Regulation 9, 10 and 11 of NADRA Employees (Service) Regulations, 2002. The post is based in Lahore, Punjab, as advertised in daily newspapers on 14 September 2026.

Eligibility Criteria & Qualifications

Key Responsibilities, Skills & Competencies

• Technical expertise in Layer 2/3 switches, Core Firewalls, WAF, and IDS/IPS.
• Manage routine operations and troubleshooting for Core network elements.
• Experience in network optimization, including bandwidth monitoring, QoS, health checks, SLA monitoring, preventive maintenance, and incident management.
• Oversee implementation, commissioning, and RMA processes for network hardware.
• Ensure physical infrastructure standards, including cabling and equipment mounting.
• Conduct redundancy testing, backups, and restoration verification.
• Implement information security tasks, including encryption and firewalling for assigned network elements.
• Maintain comprehensive documentation (SOPs, IP schemes, engineering drawings, and manuals).
• Manage inventory, vendor SLAs, and coordination with audit, HQ, and other technical teams.
• Monitor network performance and provide 24/7 support, including shift work and weekend availability.
• Strong communication, problem-solving, and multi-tasking skills.

Terms & Conditions

1. Selected candidate will undergo a 6 months' probation period, extendable subject to performance.

7. Selected candidate shall provide Medical Fitness and Character Certificates.
8. No TA/DA will be admissible.
9. Electronic gadgets such as mobile phone, smart watch etc. will not be allowed during test/interview.
