Applications are invited for the position of Consultant (Economics) - SPPS-III based in Islamabad.

Key Responsibilities & Scope of Work

• To develop and apply economic models to assess the impact of various policies and strategies.
• To conduct cost-benefit analyses to inform decision-making processes.
• To provide expert advice on economic aspects of sectoral (i.e. energy) planning and policy formulation.
• To assist in the development of strategies to promote sustainable economic growth through effective management of available resource base.
• To oversee the collection, analysis, and interpretation of economic data related to economic interventions in terms of policies and projects.
• To prepare comprehensive analytical reports and present to the stakeholders.
• To collaborate with government agencies, private sector entities, and international organizations to align economic strategies with national development goals.
• To provide training and mentorship to junior economists and staff within the Planning Commission.
