Required Qualification: JOB DESCRIPTION OF CONSULTANT, ENERGY i. To provide a credible analytical support for assessing and planning an optimal and holistic strategy for the country's energy sector. ii. To work related to review of the Public Sector Development Portfolio, energy sector plans, URRAN Pakistan, 5 Es framework, policy reforms etc. iii. To provide analysis related to investments and operational optimization of energy production, supply, and logistics. iv. To contribute to formulation of integrated energy plans and policy recommendations. v. To keep interactions with academia and private sector regarding energy strategy, policy, and planning directions and related analytical and informational needs. vi. To obtain necessary policy and planning directions for framing of reports with recommendations for approval from relevant authorities. vii. To keep coordination with government agencies, academic institutions, and private sector entities to ensure stakeholder engagement and also to coordinate with donor agencies, international organizations, and consultants to ensure the effectiveness of data. viii. To provide support for research and development, surveys and data collection, training, and systems deployment for sustainable IEP activities. ix. To provide input for making effective recommendations and implementation plans for energy sector developments. x. To interpret complex data and provide actionable insights from time to time. xi. To carry out any other task assigned by Secretary, Member, DCPC and Minister PD&SI.

Required Experience: 7 Years

Key Responsibilities & Scope of Work

To provide a credible analytical support for assessing and planning an optimal and holistic strategy for the country's energy sector.
To work related to review of the Public Sector Development Portfolio, energy sector plans, URRAN Pakistan, 5 Es framework, policy reforms etc.
To provide analysis related to investments and operational optimization of energy production, supply, and logistics.
