Job Overview

One of the leading public sector general insurance companies in Pakistan, with its corporate Head Office situated in Karachi, invites applications from highly competent, self-motivated, and dynamic finance professionals for the executive position of Manager Taxation.

Key Duties and Responsibilities

• Lead corporate taxation management, direct and indirect tax planning, and regulatory compliance.
• Manage and execute timely e-filing of monthly, quarterly, and annual tax returns with the Federal Board of Revenue (FBR) and Sindh Revenue Board (SRB).
• Coordinate and represent the company before tax authorities during assessments, audits, and inquiries.
• Monitor withholding taxes, advance tax calculations, and ensure full compliance with provincial revenue authorities across Pakistan.
• Stay abreast of legislative amendments in the Income Tax Ordinance, Sales Tax Act, and provincial tax statutes, advising executive management on fiscal impacts.

Eligibility Criteria

• Educational Qualification: Graduate in any relevant discipline, including CA Inter, B.Com, BBA, or BS in Commerce, Finance, or Actuarial Sciences from an HEC recognized institution.
• Professional Experience: Preferably 3 to 5 years of hands-on corporate taxation experience.
• Technical Knowledge: Sound practical expertise in taxation, FBR portal, SRB e-filing, and applicable tax statutes.
• Industry Preference: Candidates possessing prior working experience in the general insurance or financial services sector will be given preference.
