Software Engineer — AI Systems & Full-Stack Development
Worldmind | Invenio Protocols
Location: Remote, Pakistan
Type: Full-time
Starting salary: PKR 150,000 per month
I’m looking for an exceptionally capable developer who enjoys difficult problems and takes ownership of getting things working.
We’re building Worldmind, the intelligence platform behind Invenio Protocols, an Ireland-based commercial intelligence business. Its purpose is to turn fragmented information into research that businesses can inspect, verify and use to make decisions.
The work involves AI agents, research pipelines, evidence retrieval, workflow automation and the interface that brings these systems together. You’ll work directly with the founder and have substantial responsibility for the product.
What you’ll do
- Build and improve Worldmind across its frontend, backend and infrastructure.
- Connect AI models, APIs, research tools and external data sources.
- Develop agent workflows that can execute tasks, recover from failures and produce traceable results.
- Improve retrieval, source attribution, persistent memory and research quality.
- Diagnose problems across the whole system, from the interface to the database and deployment.
- Evaluate existing open-source tools and integrate the ones that earn their place.
- Ship changes, verify them in the deployed product and take responsibility for the result.
What you need
- Excellent programming fundamentals and strong debugging skills.
- Strong TypeScript/JavaScript and Python skills.
- Experience with React/Next.js, APIs, PostgreSQL and authentication.
- Practical experience deploying and maintaining applications.
- An understanding of permissions, credential protection, logging and reliable background jobs.
- The ability to work independently, communicate clearly and exercise sound technical judgment.
Our current environment includes Next.js, Supabase, Vercel, Railway and AI model APIs. Experience with agent orchestration, search, document processing, queues or research systems would be valuable.
The standard
When something breaks, you investigate it, fix it and demonstrate that it works.
When a proposed approach has a real limitation, you explain it clearly and propose a practical route forward. We need someone who can think critically and move the work forward without constant supervision.
AI coding tools are welcome. You must understand, review and take responsibility for the code you ship.
Your work will carry the most weight in our assessment. A particular degree or university is not required.
How to apply
Send:
1. Your GitHub, portfolio or a working demonstration.
2. The strongest thing you’ve built, explaining exactly what you personally implemented.
3. One difficult technical problem you solved and how you solved it.
4. Your CV, location and earliest start date.
Private projects are welcome through a walkthrough or suitable code sample. Shortlisted applicants should expect a technical discussion and a practical coding assessment.
Show us the work you’re proudest of—and be ready to explain it.
