What you will do?

Purpose:

The

Assistant Manager HLC

is responsible for ensuring efficient production operations and achievement of daily, monthly, and annual production targets while maintaining quality, productivity, and process compliance. The incumbent will drive lean manufacturing, cost optimization, continuous improvement, 5S, and workforce effectiveness initiatives to support overall operational performance.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage production operations to achieve daily, monthly and annual production targets while ensuring adherence to approved production plans and standards.
• Monitor production performance, identify operational gaps and implement corrective actions to improve productivity, efficiency, and overall shop-floor performance.
• Drive lean manufacturing and cost-effective initiatives, focusing on Muda reduction, cost savings, productivity enhancement and continuous process improvement.
• Ensure product quality standards are consistently maintained through effective quality monitoring, TQM practices and timely identification and elimination of major defects using RCA, PDCA, and A3 methodologies.
• Lead the implementation and sustainability of 5S practices across the shop floor, ensuring compliance with established standards and promoting a culture of workplace organization and discipline.
• Promote and implement Kaizen initiatives by encouraging improvement ideas from the shop floor and driving their effective execution to enhance operational efficiency.
• Manage and develop the workforce by ensuring adherence to standard operating procedures (SOPs), effective manpower utilization, and relevant training to support operational and productivity requirements.
• Ensure compliance with stock management and SAP-related processes, maintaining accurate records and timely completion of required transactions and reporting.

Education:

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a relevant/similar qualification from an HEC-recognized institution.

Minimum Experience and Knowledge:

• 4-5 years

  of relevant experience in manufacturing concern.
