About the role
Green Peak International (GPI) is hiring Business Development Officers for Mobilink Microfinance Bank. As a BDO you will bring new customers and deposits to the bank by building relationships with businesses, shopkeepers and individuals in your branch’s area.
Locations
- Karachi: DHA and Clifton branches
What you will do
- Visit markets, businesses and customers in your branch’s area. This takes around 50% of your time.
- Open accounts, follow up with customers and handle paperwork at the branch.
- Build and grow a base of deposit customers.
- Meet a minimum monthly target of PKR 4 million in maintained deposits.
Pay and benefits
- Fixed salary of PKR 50,000 per month.
- 2% commission on total deposits once you reach the PKR 4 million minimum. For example, PKR 80,000 on PKR 4 million, or PKR 120,000 on PKR 6 million.
- PKR 10,000 fuel allowance in any month the target is met.
- Example: PKR 6 million in deposits in a month earns 50,000 + 120,000 + 10,000 = PKR 180,000.
Who we are looking for
- Bachelor’s degree, completed or final semester.
- Experience in sales, customer service or banking, or a business degree (BBA, B.Com, MBA, Economics, Accounting & Finance). Fresh graduates are welcome.
- Based in the city you are applying for, and comfortable with daily field visits.
- Confident speaking with people, with good Urdu and working English.
