Role Description

The Web Developer will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining web applications and sites that support GCM’s business operations. Day-to-day tasks include implementing front-end user interfaces, building and integrating back-end services, optimizing performance, and ensuring cross-browser and cross-device compatibility. The role involves collaborating with product, design, and analytics teams to translate requirements into secure, scalable, and user-friendly web solutions. The Web Developer will also troubleshoot issues, perform regular updates, and follow best practices in coding standards and documentation. This is a full-time, on-site role based in Lahore.

Qualifications

• Candidates should possess strong Front-End Development and Web Design skills, including proficiency in HTML, CSS, and JavaScript frameworks.
• Candidates should possess solid Back-End Web Development and Programming skills, with experience in server-side languages, APIs, and database integration.
• Candidates should possess comprehensive Web Development skills to build, test, deploy, and maintain modern, responsive web applications.
• Candidates should possess strong problem-solving abilities, familiarity with version control (e.g., Git), and an understanding of secure coding practices.
• Relevant qualifications such as a degree or diploma in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field, plus experience in similar web development roles, are beneficial.
• Effective communication skills, the ability to collaborate in cross-functional teams, and a willingness to learn new tools and frameworks are highly valued.
